69 Double-sided cards to get uncomfortable and break the ice among new and old friends…
TO PROVOKE SOME LAUGHS AND IN-DEPTH DISCUSSIONS. THIS IS GREAT FOR A GROUP GAME NIGHT OR EVEN A DOUBLE DATE, IF YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW SOMEONE, WITHOUT POSING A BUNCH OF AWKWARD QUESTIONS. THE OBJECT OF THE GAME IS SIMPLE, TELL THE TRUTH, AND LET’S GET UNCOMFORTABLE TOGETHER.
HOW TO PLAY
SPLIT THE DECK: Half RED SIDE facing up. Half PURPLE SIDE facing up.
ROUND 1: ALL PLAYERS start with 1 HAND UP, ALL FIVE FINGERS VISIBLE.
Take turns DRAWING from the deck with the PURPLE SIDE UP, and READ “NEVER HAVE I EVER” CARDS.
EVERY PLAYER LOSES A FINGER for each DEED they have DONE.
ROUND 2: When the FIRST PLAYER(S) are OUT OF ALL FIVE FINGERS (TAKE A SHOT) then:
DRAW 1 CARD from the deck with the RED SIDE UP, and READ “DISCUSSION” QUESTION.
Use SAND TIMER to time a THOROUGH RESPONSE. Don’t be lack-luster. Anyone in the game may CHALLENGE THE ORIGINAL ANSWER ONLY (Does not have to be your truth. Think DEBATE). CHALLENGER gets the SAME TIME on the TIMER to MAKE A POINT.
Object of the game: CONVINCE THE GROUP TO SIDE WITH YOU:
Select WINNER by SHOW OF HANDS. MAJORITY VOTE WINS.
LOSER (TAKE A SHOT).
START OVER with everyone at ROUND 1.
